One fine afternoon, during the holidays, Potato Head said to me: Let's go to Ubin ! I agreed after some thought and thus we packed our bags and left for the tiny little island.

Potato head, the initiator of the trip started to yawn as soon as we got to Changi Village. "I'm sleepy, i dont want to go to Ubin." says the Potato Head.

I ignored the pleas of the Potato Head and left on the ferry.

We passed by Changi Sailing Club where i used to volunteer. I wonder how the sailors are doing now. Oh and where's Potato Head ?

Well, obviously Potato Head tagged along too. Though as you can see, he kept thinking of his bed at home throughout the ferry trip.

We've arrived !

Potato Head, forgetting his sleepiness gets all excited about the trip once more. We rented bikes to go around.

We reached the NPCC camp site where four Indians were taking photos of each other. We would later return an hour later to see them still snapping at one another.

We got off our bikes and while walking around, Potato Head met Pumpkin Head. Excitedly, he ran up to talk to his friend.

Mr. Custard Apple on the other hand, was left alone. I felt sorry for it and went to entertain it as Potato Head was too busy squirming around in excitement.

After we left Pumpkin Head and Mr. Custard Apple, we went along to Chek Jawa via the new route. The "new and improved" route was horrid, i'll take the jungle and all natural route any day. Zzzz.

We walked towards the Mangrove route on the nice new (rather) wooden walkway.

Just then, we notice a huge tower ! Potato Head got all excited and wants to go to the top, so he runs ahead.

At the foot of the tower/observatory thing, Potato Head notices a sign saying to not head up if there is a thunderstorm approaching. Seeing that it's about to rain, Potato Head rang the meteorological center's number listed there to inquire about the weather.

Center says, no Potatos allowed, so we left the tower. (Kidding la, there was a storm cloud some 200m away.)

As we were leaving, we waved goodbye to the drowning tree.

And the huge spider. Which i do realise cannot be seen in the photo.

After returning the bikes, Potato Head stops at a sign, thinking if he should book the place for his ORD. Like majorly LOL, but whatever.

My camera got stolen at this point by the Potato Head.

Anyway, we took a walk along the Spice Trail and spotted a telco tower. At least we thought it is one.

And Anna. I mean, Banana. Why is a banana considered a spice anyway ?

So as i was saying, since it was getting late, i felt that we should leave the place and go home after getting a coconut.

But NOOOOOOOOOOO. Potato Head rejected my craving and wanted to take photos instead.

Then he complained saying i was mean to not take a photo with him properly. So we re-took but he was still whiny. Troublesome Potato Head.

Still, we ended off getting a nice tissue prata and tea at my favourite tissue prata place and the day was awesome once again.
THE END.
